Overview

Cardiology Interventional Physician role in Florida. AdventHealth Ocala is seeking a board-certified interventional cardiologist to grow cardiovascular medicine at its 325-bed non-profit hospital in Ocala. The candidate should be experienced and highly motivated to expand and manage a comprehensive cardiology practice as we open a new Medical Office Building in summer 2025.

About the program

The cardiovascular group offers comprehensive invasive, structural and electrophysiology services. The program has collaborations with cardiothoracic and vascular surgery programs. Ocala has been named one of the fastest growing cities in Florida. The program has Heart Care Center designation by the American College of Cardiology and holds accreditations in cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, heart failure transcatheter valve therapy and as a chest pain center with PCI. Outstanding programs in standard and intensive cardiac rehabilitation are offered at multiple locations. Research opportunities are offered through the AdventHealth Research Institute.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible Medical Doctor with or w / o US residency with current US work visa.
