Continuous Improvement Intern - WorldWide Electric
Location : Hernando, MS and Warrior, AL.
Duration : One semester (approx. 3 months).
Start Date : Second week of January.
Compensation : Paid Internship.

As part of goals this year, we are starting an internship program to support the creation of a Continuous Improvement department.
Role & Responsibilities :
- Report directly and collaborate with the Sr. Operations Engineer on continuous improvement projects.
- Implementation of Toyota Kata methodology.
- Begin coaching 2-3 team members daily using scientific thinking principles.
- Support projects aligned with ISO 9001 certification.
- Use Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio) for documentation and analysis.
- Optionally apply Power BI for basic data analytics.
Skills & Qualifications :
Pursuing a degree in Industrial, Mechanical or systems Engineering (2nd year or above preferred).Strong communication and organizational skills.Ability to think scientifically and systemically.Problem identification and structured problem-solving mindset.Prior experience is a plus but not required.Learning & Development :
Receive 10-hour formal training in Toyota Kata methodology.Gain hands-on experience in coaching and continuous improvement.Join a formal CI team and share best practices with fellow interns.Mentorship and networking opportunities throughout the internship.Qualifications / Requirements :
