Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 2 years of adult inpatient, outpatient, and ICU experience for a day shift position.
Responsibilities
Work in an interventional radiology unit serving adult inpatient, outpatient, and ICU populationsResponsibilities include procedures such as stents, angioplasty, angiograms, paracentesis, thoracentesis, nephograms, peripheral and neuro studies, GU, abdominal and pelvis, biopsies, drainages, vascular and venous access, and upper / lower extremity proceduresUtilize specialized equipment including PACS, C-arm, contrast injectors (preferably ACIST), pushable / detachable coils, micro catheters, micro wires, Snare Kits, and injector systemsEpic EMR experience is requiredDay shifts are 4x10 hours, from 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PMCall rotation averages 10 days per month, including weekendsNo floating is required within the hospitalMust be available to work assigned major holidays per contract termsPre-employment modules are required prior to starting, varying in length and recorded on transcriptsScrubs are provided by the facilityOnsite parking is available at no costTravelers must be clean shaven for respirator FIT testing and obtain OSHA Respirator Clearance prior to startFirst-time travelers are welcome to applyA 6-month break is required for travelers seeking to return after working one year at the facilityRequirements
Minimum of 2 years recent experience in interventional radiology with exposure to adult outpatient, inpatient, and ICU settingsCurrent ARRT and BLS certifications requiredExperience with PACS, C-arm, contrast, and a wide range of IR procedures as specified is necessaryExperience with Epic charting system requiredProficiency using pushable / detachable coils, micro catheters, micro wires, Snare Kits, and injector systemsMust provide two professional references from a supervisor within the past two yearsCandidates must live more than 70 miles from the facility; locals are not acceptedLicense required if applicableBenefits
