Residential Escrow Assistant
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Residential Escrow Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide critical support an Escrow Officer in processing residential real estate transactions from opening through closing. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, a team player, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and timelines are essential.
Key Responsibilities :
- Open and process residential escrow files, ensuring all required documentation is collected and complete.
- Assist in preparing escrow instructions, title commitments, settlement statements, and other closing documents.
- Coordinate with buyers, sellers, real estate agents, lenders, and title companies to gather and verify information.
- Order title reports, payoffs, HOA documents, insurance, and other necessary documentation for closing.
- Maintain accurate records in escrow software systems and physical files.
- Monitor transaction timelines and proactively address any delays or outstanding items.
- Handle funds disbursement, wire transfers, and deposits under the supervision of the Escrow Officer.
- Respond to customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Perform general administrative tasks including data entry, scanning, filing, and document preparation.
- Support compliance with all regulatory and company policies.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent (required); additional education or escrow certification a plus.1+ year of experience in escrow, title, real estate, or a related field (preferred).Familiarity with escrow procedures, terminology, and residential real estate transaction flow.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and escrow / title software (e.g., SoftPro, RamQuest, Qualia) a plus.Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work well under pressure.Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
