Job descriptionExperience : 1+ year performing healthcare reimbursement, pharmacy / medical billing, or related work. Experience working with healthcare reimbursement systems. Customer service experience with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Strong communication and organizational abilities. Detail-oriented with solid prioritization skills. Working knowledge of medical terminology. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook (PowerPoint preferred). High School Diploma or GED (verifiable) required. 02 years of pharmacy billing experience. Prior exposure to long-term care or pharmacy operations environments.
Pharmacy Billing Specialist
Duration : 06 months contract Hybrid
Key Responsibilities :
- Ensure timely submission of pharmacy benefit claims for reimbursement.
- Communicate with various payers and insurance processors to resolve accounts receivable claims.
- Research, prepare, and submit claims to Medicare Part B, Major Medical, and Medicaid.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve claim discrepancies.
- Maintain accuracy and compliance with billing procedures and payer requirements.
- Prioritize and manage daily billing activities in a fast-paced environment.
- Utilize multiple billing systems and Microsoft Office applications effectively.
