The Braid Lounge is a modern African braiding salon serving professional women across Hampton Roads. We’re known for our elevated experience, positive energy, and commitment to excellence — blending culture, creativity, and professionalism under one roof.

We’re looking for a  Client Concierge  to join our growing team. This is not your average front desk job — it’s a hospitality-driven role for someone who’s detail-oriented, polished, and ready to grow into a leadership position.

About the Role

As our Client Concierge, you’re the heartbeat of the salon — greeting guests, managing client flow, driving retail and rebooking goals, and capturing content that reflects the beauty and energy of The Braid Lounge.

You won’t handle phones (our virtual receptionists manage that). Your focus is in-salon hospitality, operations, and client experience.

This position includes a  clear growth path to Operations Manager , typically over 9–18 months, based on performance and leadership readiness.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients with warmth and professionalism
• Manage check-ins, payments, and rebookings in Zenoti
• Maintain retail shelves and track sales weekly
• Support rebooking goals and client retention
• Capture short videos and photos for social media content
• Communicate updates between braiders and management
• Keep the front area organized and presentable
• Contribute to a positive, calm, and professional salon environment

Schedule

Average paid hours :  30–32 per week
