Job Description\n

American Traveler is hiring a CT / X-Ray Technologist for a night shift, dual modality role requiring at least 1 year of experience and Epic charting proficiency.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a short-term acute care hospital and Level IV trauma center
  • Position is a dual CT / X-ray technologist role with a 1 : 1 patient ratio
  • Three 12-hour night shifts weekly from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM, including Friday through Sunday weekends
  • No required floating within hospital units, but may be required to float to nearby affiliate hospitals
  • Epic EMR is used and experience with Epic is required
  • No on-call required
  • Must be able to perform both CT scans and X-rays as part of daily duties
  • Returning staff must have a 3-month gap before returning as a traveler
  • A 50-mile radius rule applies; local candidates accepted at a lower pay rate
  • Must have a vehicle for this assignment
  • Scrubs of any color or business casual attire are permitted
  • Must commit to work 3 out of 5 major holidays
  • All requested time off must be submitted up front; minimal time off is recommended
  • Travelers refusing to float to affiliate locations may risk termination
  • Completion of required non-billable pre-start and annual training modules is mandatory

  • At least 1 year recent experience as a CT / X-ray technologist
  • Current relevant certifications required
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • License required if applicable
  • Two supervisory references from the last 3 years covering at least 1 year of experience
