The AI Engineer will design, develop, and deploy advanced AI and machine learning models that enhance data accuracy, automation, and predictive insights across healthcare and fintech applications.
This role is pivotal in enabling smarter clinical and financial decision-making by turning complex data into actionable intelligence.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise in data science and machine learning with a passion for innovation, data privacy, and compliance within a highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Implement and fine-tune pre-trained AI models, develop RAG pipelines, and integrate AI services (such as Snowflake Cortex AI) to automate contract processing, improve provider compensation accuracy, extract insights from legal documents, and enhance operational efficiency.
- Partner with product, data, and engineering teams to identify AI opportunities that enhance both client and patient outcomes.
- Develop and maintain secure, scalable data pipelines and model deployment workflows.
- Evaluate AI frameworks and emerging technologies to advance predictive modeling and automation capabilities.
- Ensure data integrity, HIPAA compliance, and ethical AI practices in all development processes.
- Present insights and model performance metrics to leadership and business stakeholders in a clear, actionable format.
- Education, Experience & Skills Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Applied Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and SQL ; familiarity with cloud-based ML platforms such as AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, or Google Vertex AI.
- Strong understanding of LLM capabilities, agentic AI solutions, and automation frameworks, with the ability to identify process improvement opportunities and implement AI-driven solutions for contract processing and business operations.
- Experience working with healthcare (HL7 / FHIR) or financial data (claims, transactions, compensation models).
- Understanding of HIPAA, data privacy, and ethical AI frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and cross-functional communication skills. 4–8 years of AI or ML engineering experience, ideally within healthcare technology, fintech, or other regulated industries.
- Proven success in building and deploying production-grade AI systems that deliver measurable impact.
- This is a remote position, but qualified candidates must reside in the United States.
