Job Details :

• Work flexible scheduling with (2) 8-hour shifts and (2) 12-hour shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 00 PM and 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 00 PM
• 6-week schedule requirements include (2) weekend days (8 or 12 hours depending on staffing)
• Call shift requirements : (2) weekend days and 4 weekday call shifts (8 or 12 hours depending on staffing)
• Holiday coverage : (1) summer and (1) winter work shift, (1) summer and (1) winter holiday call
• Patient ratio of 1 : 1 for days, nights, and weekends
• 40 hours of orientation required
• Must have 3 years of experience with Level I Trauma, liver and kidney experience
• BSN degree required
• Previous charge experience required
• Travel experience required - no first-time travelers
• Required certifications : BLS, NBSTSA or NCCT
• Experience with Cerner charting system required
• Skills include cardiovascular surgery, neurology surgery, transplant surgery, vascular surgery, trauma procedures, and general OR
• PA or compact license required at time of submission
• Must complete labs within 48 hours of signing
• PA fingerprints required and may require travel time
• Adult patient population with daily census of 30 patients
• Work in 14-room / 14-bed operating suite
