Title : Multimedia Tech Manager

Reports To : General Manager, Chicago

Compensation : $75k+ BOE

About The Role

WNDR is seeking a full-time Multimedia Technology Manager. If you were the kid who couldn’t resist pushing the button to see what would happen, this is the job for you. The Multimedia Manager will help with the setup, testing, and installation of complex and immersive multimedia exhibits for WNDR and manage the maintenance, repair, and installation of new exhibits. This is a very hands-on role that requires moving heavy equipment, using ladders, scissor lifts, etc.

Essential Functions

• Opening and closing museum exhibits using set protocol
• Perform regular maintenance on AV equipment to ensure everything is functioning correctly
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with equipment, such as sound distortion, poor video quality, software issues, or connectivity problems
• Provide technical support to presenters and performers, assisting with microphone setup and video playback during events
• Create and maintain documentation for AV setups, including diagrams and instructions
• Communicate with manager(s) regarding technical issues
• Train new ambassadors on museum exhibit protocols
