Job Title : VDC Designer / BIM Coordinator

Job Description

We are seeking a VDC Designer to provide detailing and design support for VDC / BIM models of HVAC systems. You will coordinate across MEP contractors and departments to develop effective and practical designs for construction purposes. Additionally, you will review, redline, and revise drawings based on building specifications.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Engineers and the VDC team to coordinate drawings and plans for the fabrication shop.

Design and detail BIM drawings.

Assist with field measurements.

Utilize Revit and AutoCAD for fabrication design.

Essential Skills

2+ years of experience in BIM / VDC modeling.

Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and VDC / BIM technologies.

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Background in mechanical engineering.

Experience with HVAC systems.

Work Environment

This role involves computer design work at a desk, with occasional fieldwork for measurements. The position offers a supportive training environment for entry-level candidates and the opportunity to work on diverse and interesting projects such as hospitals, natural history museums, and historical buildings.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $38.00 / hr.
