Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) based in Haverstraw, NY. The CNA will provide direct patient care, assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility. Responsibilities include monitoring patient well-being, reporting any changes to the nursing team, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and ensuring patients' comfort and dignity at all times. Collaboration with health professionals and effective communication with patients and families are essential aspects of the role.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant certification and relevant licensure in New York
• Experience providing direct patient care, including assistance with daily living activities and mobility
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse patients, families, and healthcare teams
• Observational skills for monitoring patient health and reporting changes promptly
• Knowledge of infection control practices and basic medical terminology
• Commitment to maintaining patient dignity and providing compassionate care
• Previous experience in rehabilitation, acute care, or similar settings is a plus
