Job Description :

Join our dynamic team as a General Production Worker, where you'll play a crucial role in operating and maintaining various machines within your designated area. You'll have the opportunity to move between multiple areas on the manufacturing floor, assisting as needed. We value candidates with at least one year of consistent machine operating or manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities :

  • Operate Machinery : Load, run, and unload parts efficiently.
  • Quality Control : T rim, clean, and inspect parts for defects.
  • Component Preparation : Grind, deburr, straighten, and wash components.
  • Packaging : Pack and prepare parts for shipping.
  • Precision Measurement : Measure critical dimensions using basic tools.
  • Safety Compliance : Follow safety guidelines and process instructions.
  • Work Area Maintenance : Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Quality Reporting : Report quality issues to the supervisor.
  • Production Targets : Meet production targets and log output.
  • General Tasks : Perform other assigned tasks related to general labor, packaging, and production.

Essential Skills :

  • Proven machine operation experience.
  • Solid production experience.
  • Ability to load and unload parts with precision.
  • Reliability and keen attention to detail.
  • Strong desire to learn and improve.

    • Additional Skills & Qualifications :

  • Must be able to lift and move up to 40 lbs.
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
  • Flexibility to bend, crouch, and crawl as needed.
  • Compliance with PPE and safety regulations / policies.
  • Ability to work effectively in teams or independently.

  • Industrial and clean, with a well-lit shop.
  • Two openings available on the 3rd shift, Monday through Friday from 10 pm to 6 : 30 am.
  • Steel-toed shoes required; all other PPE provided.

  • Contract to Hire position based out of Rochester, New York.

    • Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00 / hr.
