Post-Surgical Aide

Diagnostic Endoscopy LLC is a free-standing ambulatory health care facility specializing in colorectal cancer screening and the treatment of various diseases involving the digestive tract. Currently Diagnostic Endoscopy Center has nine physicians who serve patients from Fairfield New Haven and Westchester counties as well as the New York City metropolitan area. Diagnostic Endoscopy Center is a State Medicare and AAAHC accredited facility and is staffed by highly trained professionals with extensive experience in endoscopy procedures.

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable PACU Assistant to join our Post-Anesthesia Care Unit team. The PACU Assistant plays a vital role in supporting patient recovery and ensuring a clean safe and comfortable environment. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about patient care and enjoy working in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities :

• Clean and prepare patient beds in the PACU to maintain a sterile and welcoming environment.
• Provide nourishment and hydration to patients as directed by nursing staff.
• Assist PACU nurses with non-clinical tasks to support patient care and comfort.
• Call and coordinate transportation for patients upon discharge.
• Escort and walk patients out of the facility safely and respectfully.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the PACU area.
• Communicate effectively with patients families and healthcare team members.
