Electromechanical Assembler

Solderer Technicians - 1st Shift

Responsibilities :

Read work orders and follow production documentation or sample assemblies.

Receive verbal instructions regarding duties.

Perform tasks such as labeling, wire cutting, stuffing, crimping, bag and tag, soldering, potting, IDC, SCSI, heat shrink, PC board soldering, backshelling, harnessing, harness board construction, box builds, kitting, create wire lists, and pin extraction.

Assist in the Quality Management System (QMS) and commit to continuous improvement.

Essential Skills :

Proficient in soldering, assembly, labeling, wire cutting, crimping, and harness assembly.

Knowledge of IPC 610 and IPC 620 standards.

Possess J-STD-001 Certification (can be expired).

Ability to use microscopes.

Proficient with long nose pliers, side cutter, and soldering iron.

Additional Skills & Qualifications :

Experience with heat shrinking, stuffing, and soldering wire to wire, connectors, and thru-hole.

Ability to handle epoxy and solder cups.

Familiarity with splicing cables and strip wire.

Job Type & Location :

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, CA.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
