WCS is seeking an RN in Pediatrics or Internal Medicine for a local contract at a prestigious hospital in Brooklyn, NY.

Job Function :

Day Shift.

5x8 : 9AM-5PM.

Deliver patient care using the nursing process, incorporating assessment, intervention, and evidence-based practices.

Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.

Educate patients and caregivers on care plans, health promotion, and disease prevention.

Participate in quality and safety initiatives, including process improvements, peer reviews, and adherence to institutional standards.

Perform operational duties such as charge nurse responsibilities, managing resources, and documenting patient care accurately.

Job Requirements :

NYS RN / LPN License, BLS certification.

2 years of RN / LPN experience; at least 2 years in ambulatory care nursing; 1 year travel experience for Travel positions (not required for Per Diem).

Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred; Associate degree acceptable with relevant experience or active matriculation in a BSN program.

EPIC experience highly preferred.
