RMS is seeking a skilled Lead Nondestructive Testing (NDT) Technician to perform inspections and evaluations that determine the acceptance or rejection of components in accordance with written procedures and industry standards. This role is responsible for setting up and calibrating NDT equipment, accurately interpreting and evaluating test results, and ensuring compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and specifications. With a thorough understanding of the capabilities and limitations of NDT methods, the Lead NDT Technician provides technical expertise on the shop floor while offering on-the-job training and guidance to Assistants and Level I Technicians to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality inspection practices.

SKILLS REQURIED

ORGANIZATIONAL - Leadership & Organization :

• Organize and prioritize NDT work to align with production and shipping schedules
• Maintain accurate and thorough NDT records, including RMS and third-party documentation ensuring traceability and compliance
• Exceptional attention to details.
• Display ownership and accountability for tasks and responsibilities.
• Adaptable to changing schedules.
