Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Pediatrics PACU - Post Anesthetic Care Discipline : RN Duration : Ongoing Shift : 12 hours, days Employment Type : Per Diem On Demand / Per Diem Program We can offer stipend pay based on the amount of shifts worked / week instead of an all taxed rate Years of Experience Two Years Plus Specialties Peds Post-op (preferred) Technologies Epic Certifications BLS (required) PALS (required) Description Provides age appropriate care for one or more of the following age groups routinely : Neonate, Infant, Child, Adolescent, and Adult Assesses patient with input from the patient / family. Performs and documents assessment of the patient / family including bio-physical, psychosocial, developmental (age-appropriate), cultural, spiritual, and environmental needs in an organized and systematic manner. Develops an individualized plan of care based upon the nursing assessment reflecting the bio-physical, psychosocial, developmental (age-appropriate), cultural, spiritual, and environmental needs of the patient / family and ensures plan is initiated, dated, and individualized by the RN within 24 hours of admission. Implements and individualizes plan of care based on nursing assessment, reflecting the bio-physical, psychosocial, developmental (age-appropriate), cultural, spiritual, and environmental needs of the patient / family. Demonstrates positive and effective interpersonal skills when dealing with patients / families, visitors, peers, and other health care team members.
