Job Responsibilities
Leads the overall comprehensive environmental health program operations for the Richmond County Health Department.
Manages subordinate assigned staff.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, which included the completion of 27 semester hours (or 40 quarter hours) in laboratory science (e.g., chemistry, biology, geology, physics, etc.)
Two (2) years of experience as a PH Envir Compl Specialist 4 (RCP123) or position equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications :
Preferred Qualifications : Master's degree in laboratory science, public health, or related field; Registered Environmental Health Specialist / Registered Sanitarian; Completion of a Leadership course; Supervisory experience
Additional Information
All East Central Health District 6 employees are deemed essential workers in the event of an emergency. As such, you may be called on to participate in an event including but not limited to : staffing a shelter, working at a Specimen Point of Collection Site (SPOC) and / or working at a Point of Dispensing site (POD). If you are called on to participate, you are required to report to the designated site as a condition of employment, whether the emergency occurs during or outside regular work hours.
Under the pre-employment fitness-for-duty this position is considered a Category 3 : Food-handling
