We’re looking for a Performance Marketing Associate to support our paid media and performance marketing efforts across multiple digital channels. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, analytical, and has experience in or is eager to grow their skills in digital advertising, analytics, and campaign optimization. In this role, you’ll assist with campaign execution, reporting, and optimization — and help communicate performance insights to franchisees in clear, easy-to-understand terms. You’ll work closely with our Performance Marketing Director and broader marketing team, gaining real-world experience across paid media platforms and analytics tools.
Key Responsibilities
Paid Media Support:
- Assist with the setup, launch, and ongoing management of paid campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Meta (Facebook & Instagram), and other digital channels
- Support keyword research, audience targeting, ad creation, and campaign organization
- Monitor performance metrics, including CTR, CPC, conversions, and budget pacing
- Oversee campaign management for internal franchise marketing programs, including activating and pausing campaigns, managing budgets, maintaining accurate targeting, and making performance-based adjustments
Campaign Optimization & Reporting:
- Help identify optimization opportunities based on campaign performance data
- Assist with keeping ad copy, targeting, and creative up to date, including supporting A/B testing of ad variations to improve performance
- Assist with the creation and annual updates of performance reports and dashboards used for internal franchise marketing programs
Performance Tracking & Communications:
- Draft and send clear, professional email communications to franchisees regarding their digital advertising performance
- Translate campaign data into straightforward insights and actionable takeaways for non-technical audiences
- Assist in responding to franchisee questions related to performance, pacing, and results
- Document recommendations, next steps, and ongoing optimizations
- Support proper campaign tracking using UTMs and conversion tracking
- Help analyze performance trends to inform future optimizations and strategy
Cross-Team Collaboration & Support:
- Support creative testing plans and provide performance feedback
- Assist with campaign documentation and internal processes
- Support broader marketing initiatives and special projects as needed
- Help maintain organization across campaigns, assets, and reporting files
Qualifications & Desired Skills
- Relevant Bachelor’s degree (e.g., Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, Communications), or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1–3 years of digital marketing or related experience (internships count)
- Experience with Google Ads, Meta Ads, and/or other paid advertising platforms is required; familiarity with Google Analytics (GA4), Looker Studio, or other reporting/analytics tools is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (particularly via email), with excellent organization and time management skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills; proactive, resourceful, and self-motivated with a data-driven mindset
- Honest, dependable, and professional in all interactions
- Willingness to learn, grow, and continually improve PPC and performance marketing expertise
- Experience using G Suite products such as Sheets, Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, and Slides is preferred
