Position Overview :
Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing Pediatric Orthopedic team in Temple, Texas. This APP will play a key role in supporting a new pediatric orthopedic surgeon starting in September 2025 , helping provide high-quality orthopedic care to children in a collaborative, multispecialty environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Evaluate and treat an average of 18 pediatric patients per day in the clinic
- Provide first assist support in the operating room as needed (minimal)
- Collaborate with an experienced team that includes 2 pediatric surgeons , non-operative sports medicine providers , and a clinic nurse specialist
- Participate in care planning and follow-up for surgical and non-surgical patients
- Use clinical judgment and teamwork to deliver compassionate, child-friendly care
Qualifications :
