Underwriting Specialist Or Executive Underwriter Excess Casualty
Zurich is currently looking to hire an experienced Underwriting Specialist or Executive Underwriter Excess Casualty to join our growing Excess Casualty team! We are open to hiring an experienced Underwriter in any location commutable to a Zurich office, with hiring preference for the following locations : New York City, Philadelphia, Boston, Chicago, Atlanta, or Dallas. While we are open to locations nationwide, you will have the flexibility to work on a hybrid basis. You will partner with your manager to set a flexible work schedule that supports you, our customers, and our brokers and agents. This role will require you to be visible in the marketplace to meet with our agents and brokers and be in the office / market three days per week. The ideal candidate will have a background in Excess Casualty and / or Construction. This role will be filled at either an Underwriting Specialist or Executive Underwriter. The hiring manager will determine the appropriate level based upon the selected applicant's experience and skillset relative to the qualifications listed for this position.

At Zurich, compensation for roles is influenced by a variety of factors, including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. The combined salary range for this position is $75,000.00 - $165,000.00. The proposed salary range for the Underwriting Specialist is $75,000.00 - $125,000.00, with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 10%. The proposed salary range for the Executive Underwriter is $98,500.00 - $165,000.00, with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 15%.
