The BAE Systems Space & Mission Systems sector is seeking engineering talent to join our Space Vehicle Simulator team. On this team you will work at the forefront of hardware and software integration for a space mission. The simulators we develop and deliver serve as space vehicle system prototypes that support critical program activities including flight software development and test, risk reduction integration activities, ground system development, and mission operator training. Our team's goal is the overall success of our customer's program.
Utilize your engineering expertise to develop, deliver and support real-time simulators of Space & Mission Systems Space Vehicles. This position will report to the manager of Space Vehicle Simulators and will be responsible for leading simulator development on a specific spacecraft program. The role requires an engineer with a keen interest in aerospace and the demonstrated ability to lead a team of engineers in the delivery and support of a complex system of hardware and software.

What You'll Do :
Communicate a vision of the system architecture to engineers and lead multi-disciplinary teams across multiple organizations in detailed design, analysis, and optimization of the candidate systems and subsystem performance and operation.
On-Site Work Environment : This position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site five days each normally scheduled week in the primary work location. Travel and local commute between company campuses and other possible non-company locations may be required.
