Job descriptionTesting all electrical circuits. Circuits would include : switch-gear, power distribution fuel displays and battery charging system & make repairs to such circuits. Inspecting all aspects of engine and engine components. Mechanical repair of things such as coolant leaks, fuel leaks and fuel probes. Responsible for setting up power modules for test to include fueling of the unit, attaching load cables and AC house short power. Electrical voltages would include 120, 240, 480, and 600 volts AC. Occasionally higher voltages are required. Read and understand schematics Basic computer, electrical and mechanical skills Understanding of diesel engines and power generators Use basic hand tools and measuring equipment Attention to Detail, quality, testing Very mechanically inclined. Diesel mechanic experience is a plus. We are seeking a skilled Quality Technician to support testing, inspection, and troubleshooting of electrical circuits and diesel-powered generator systems. This role plays a key part in ensuring equipment meets performance and safety standards through hands-on diagnostics and repair. 1st Shift; 7am-3pm EST; Monday - Friday
- Up to $20.00 / hr.
