Job Details

As a Flooring Estimator , you will be responsible for developing accurate and competitive bids for commercial and industrial flooring projects. You will :

Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents for flooring scope.

Perform quantity takeoffs and pricing for epoxy, polished concrete, sealing, and other commercial flooring systems.

Collaborate with project managers, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure accurate cost structures.

Prepare detailed proposals and bid packages to submit to clients and general contractors.

Attend pre-bid meetings, site walks, and client meetings as needed.

Support project turnover and assist with scope clarification during project startup.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in commercial or industrial flooring estimating (epoxy, polished concrete, sealing, coatings, etc.).

Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications.

Proficiency with takeoff / estimating software (Bluebeam, OST, or similar).

Ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Proven track record of accuracy in bids and successful project awards.
