About the Role
Our client, a leading global media and entertainment company, is seeking a Social Media Manager (Contract) to join their Streaming Marketing team. In this role, you will lead social marketing efforts for multiple Original titles—driving creative campaigns, audience engagement, and brand storytelling across key social platforms.
The ideal candidate is a strategic and creative social expert with hands‑on experience leading entertainment campaigns—particularly within streaming, film, or television. You’re a strong communicator, thrive in cross‑functional environments, and have a proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously. Experience working with comedy and stand‑up titles is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end social marketing campaigns for multiple Originals—overseeing strategy, creative development, and community management.
- Manage and guide external agencies to ensure best‑in‑class creative execution and fan engagement.
- Partner cross‑functionally with Marketing, PR, Creative, Media, Events, Brand Marketing, and Research to deliver cohesive and impactful campaigns.
- Act as a key liaison for talent, reps, and studio partners—facilitating social content deliveries and approvals.
- Collaborate with talent and production teams to capture and develop engaging social assets.
- Drive organic and paid social strategies that spark conversation and earned media around titles.
- Regularly analyze performance metrics to identify insights and make optimization recommendations.
- Present campaign strategies and results to leadership, producers, and key stakeholders.
What You’ll Bring
3–5+ years of experience in social media marketing at a streaming platform, studio, or entertainment brand.Strong understanding of entertainment social ecosystems, platform trends, and audience behaviors.Demonstrated success in developing and executing high‑impact social campaigns across multiple platforms.Experience managing agencies, vendors, and talent relationships with minimal oversight.Excellent communication, organization, and presentation skills; ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.Strong creative judgment and the ability to provide effective feedback on social assets.Experience reporting campaign performance to internal executives and external partners.Additional Details
