Civil Design Technician

A client of Insight Global is seeking a Civil Design Technician to join their team in Kansas City, MO. The Civil Design Technician will be working directly under the department manager and work closely with a team of engineers. This person will assist in the development of design plans for roadway projects using Bentley Open Roads. The Design Technician will prepare technical drawings and specifications of civil / roadway projects to ensure that the projects meet the design requirements and comply with the relevant codes, regulations, and quality standards. At any given time, the design technician could be working on multiple projects at the same time.

Experience with MicroStation / Bentley Open Roads

Experience with civil roadway design

• AS degree in drafting & design and / or several years of relevant civil construction design experience
• Experience with AutoCAD
