Clinical Pharmacist

Job Description

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while ensuring all medication therapies are optimized for safety and efficacy.
• Accurately and efficiently dispense prescriptions in accordance with state and federal laws.
• Perform point-of-care testing and test-to-treat services per Kentucky Board of Pharmacy protocols.
• Provide education and counseling to patients on medications, wellness, and lifestyle.
• Genetic testing and personalized medicine programs (with training).
• Compound customized medications as required.
• Collaborate closely with prescribers and healthcare partners to improve patient outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and stay current on pharmacy best practices.
• Support continuous improvement and operational excellence within the pharmacy.
• Interest in or willingness to learn compounding, pharmacogenomics, and functional medicine.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Be part of a collaborative team that encourages innovation and professional growth.
• Work in a modern independent pharmacy offering compounding, genetic testing, and functional medicine programs.
