A Typical Day...

As a Tax Professional at H&R Block, you will tap into the support of a dedicated expert team and gain the tax training essential for your success. Enjoy the freedom and flexibility to embrace your unique lifestyle while earning additional income.

• Conduct engaging tax interviews with clients via various platforms—face-to-face, video, phone, chat, and email.

• Prepare accurate and comprehensive tax returns for clients.

• Drive business growth, enhance client retention, and promote additional products and services.

• Provide clients with support regarding IRS inquiries.

• Collaborate with team members to prioritize office objectives.

• Expand your tax knowledge and expertise.

It would be a plus if you had...

• A Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.

• Prior experience in customer service or retail.

• Experience thriving in a fast-paced and supportive environment.

• Availability to work 25-35 hours per week during tax season, with potential to reach 40 hours during peak weeks.

What you'll bring to the team...

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course.

• Demonstrated experience in a high-energy environment.

• Comfort and proficiency in utilizing virtual tools like video, phone, and chat.

• Strong communication skills in person, over the phone, and in writing.

• Compliance with all IRS and applicable state requirements.

• A high school diploma or equivalent or higher.
