LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Pathology MD in Louisiana!

About The Position

We are seeking a Forensic Pathologist for a locum tenens assignment in Louisiana beginning Jan 5, 2026. This 30-day opportunity offers consecutive Monday through Friday day shifts from 8am to 4pm. The ideal candidate will have forensic pathology experience, with preference for those who are fellowship trained, and will conduct autopsies and medical examinations on deceased patients.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform autopsies and medical examinations on deceased patients
  • Evaluate cases including homicides, suicides, car crashes, natural cause deaths, and accidental fatalities such as slip and fall
  • Document findings in accordance with standard forensic protocols
  • Prepare and present reports as required
  • Additional Information

  • Must have forensic pathology experience; fellowship training preferred
  • Must hold or be eligible for licensure in Louisiana
