About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Experience : 2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience required

License : Current RN license required

Certifications : ACLS and BLS required

Must-Have : EPIC experience

Description :

Candidate will work night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM.

Schedules will require weekends as needed, likely every other weekend.

Holidays are rotated, and the candidate will be expected to work 2 of the 3 major holidays.

Candidates will undergo a clinical review to assess clinical fit.

If the candidate passes the clinical review and meets the guidelines, they will be sent for a final decision.

Interview will be conducted by the manager as part of the hiring process.

The candidate may be responsible for caring for COVID patients.

The facility is a tobacco and fragrance-free environment.

The patient-to-nurse ratio during nights will be 5 patients per nurse.

Candidates may be required to float to other units as needed.

There will be no call requirements for this position.

Additional skills required include managing and caring for various medical devices and protocols, such as central lines, telemetry, and post-operative care.

Interdisciplinary support is available, including physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy.

Potential patient diagnoses include heart failure exacerbations, respiratory illnesses, and general surgical needs.

Candidates must have strong clinical skills and experience in acute care settings.

The work environment will involve working within a team to provide comprehensive patient care.

Attendance and punctuality are important for this role.
