Composites Technician II (Swing Shift)

SHIFT : Monday-Thursday 4x10 Swing Shift, 3 : 00PM-1 : 30AM

SUMMARY

The Composites Technician II is responsible for the hand layup and filament winding of advanced composite materials on designated tooling per specific work instructions, and / or customer specifications. Tasks included in this position are tooling fabrication, secondary bonding, tool prep for lay-up, hand lay-up of pre-preg composite material using a variety of techniques and processes, vacuum bagging, precision trimming and layup techniques. The Composites Technician II is also responsible for operating ply cutting, hydraulic platen presses and curing equipment as necessary.
