Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required : + High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and / or GED equivalent programs. + The ability to stay mobile according to the patients' movement including the ability to stand for periods of time. + Must be able to work in situations with isolation precautions.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred : + Previous work experience in a hospital setting preferred. + Experience as a Patient Care Technician, Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, EMT, Nurse Aide Training, or current Nursing / Psychology student are all preferred.

Licenses and Certifications Required : + Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) is required prior to performing patient observation.
