Responsibilities :

Electronics Controls Superintendent responsibilities include but are not limited to :

The Electronics Controls Superintendent will be in a position to safely supervise Electronics Controls Technicians and all Electricians. The successful candidate will know NFPA70E, the NEC, and National Beef electrical standards. They will have responsibility of periodic reviews of all personnel and the development of a course of training for each person within that group. They will monitor and measure the Electricians and Electronic Control Technicians for growth and development.

Reading and interpreting electrical schematics

Implementing new ideas / equipment

PM improvement

Other duties as assigned

This is a safety sensitive position. This is an on-site position.

Qualifications :

Qualified candidates for the Electronics Controls Superintendent position should possess the following :

Extensive reading, and writing. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma and some college

Above average mathematical skills required

Knowledge of the manufacturing processes, procedures, and machinery. This is normally acquired through two to five years of manufacturing, with emphasis on electrical experience

Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers

Conceptual / analytical thinking

Attention to detail

Problem solving

Leadership; effectively supervise, train, and motivate employees

Excellent communication skills - verbal and written

Self-motivated and self-starter

Maintain confidentiality

Above average computer skills

Must be able to use and teach Ohms Law

Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
