Senior Development Manager

We’re seeking a Senior Manager of Health (Development & Philanthropy) to play a vital role in advancing systems change in health and social equity. 📍 Location : Remote (U.S.-based, must be able to work East Coast hours)

🕒 Schedule : Part-time (14–15 hours / week), ideally 11 AM – 3 PM ET

💼 Type : Temporary (with potential to become permanent)

💲 Rate : $43 – $45.50 / hour

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll work closely with executive leadership to drive high-impact health-focused initiatives across philanthropy, nonprofits, and funder networks. Responsibilities include :

🔹 Network & Partnership Development

• Engage and grow relationships with funders, health nonprofits, and institutional partners
• Support and help expand a cross-sector collaborative of funders and practitioners focused on transforming health systems
• Represent the organization in external stakeholder engagements, including outreach and presentations

🔹 Program Strategy & Execution

🔹 Operational & Cross-Functional Leadership

What We’re Looking For

✅ 8–12 years of experience in philanthropy, fundraising, nonprofit development (especially in health or health equity)

✅ Demonstrated success building partnerships and stewarding collaborative efforts

✅ Experience working with or alongside funder collaboratives, pooled funds, or systemic change initiatives

✅ Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and workstreams

✅ Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

✅ Comfortable with external-facing communications, stakeholder engagement, and public speaking

✅ Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a dynamic, virtual work environment

✅ Passion for equity, systems change, and the role of philanthropy in social transformation
