Executive For Strategy Consulting
The CES Strategy Office team works horizontally across Commercial Engines and Services (CES) to drive excellence in strategy development, execution and management.
The Executive for Strategy Consulting will be responsible for the development and deployment of Third-Party consultants together with expert US, European and APAC intelligence sources to augment work artefacts, creating effective think tanks and red teams that challenge and shape strategy scenario(s).
Lead the design and activation of a dynamic intelligence ecosystem integrating cross-sector insights across commercial, industrial, governmental and academic domains, strengthening organizational foresight.
Shape, develop and collaborate with diverse third-party consultancy providers and a home-grown external subject matter expert network across the full product life cycle, to yield high-impact strategic scenarios / recommendations.
Work with established GE stakeholders (marketing, competitive intelligence, GE Chief Strategy Officer) to target and cultivate work with external subject matter experts.
Consolidate, analyze and contribute shaped scenarios that drive debate across CES and GE Aerospace segments and businesses, leading to down selects and targeted work package development that drive business expansion / contraction, M&A and partnership development.
Shape risks and opportunities informed by the latter to "raise the flag" on work products that require active management or strategic re-positioning.
A key player in the CES Strategy Office, who will role model alignment to both the CES and GE strategic agendas set by the GE Chief of Strategy.
Master's degree from an accredited university or college, with extensive experience in cross functional / program leadership roles.
Demonstrated experience and acumen in the development and operationalization of strategy at a senior level.
Strong customer & supplier management capabilities and proven ability to engage, leverage and challenge subject matter experts and other external bodies across multiple aerospace domains.
Comprehensive experience across the full product life cycle, from R&D to services, with leadership roles spanning both engineering and business functions.
Extensive understanding of global aerospace industry, markets and supply base, including experience working directly with two or more airframers and multiple tier one & two suppliers.
Periodic travel to the US will be required, the role is global and can be performed remotely.
Effective leader with standout project management skills and action orientation.
Ability to create energy, and to develop & build rapport at all levels within an organization.

Ability to navigate ambiguity and develop process & structure with operating rigor.
