About The Position

License : New York RN license

• Two years of nursing experience in interventional radiology
• Telemetry experience

Description :

This is a fast-paced pre / post interventional radiology department in a level 1 trauma center.

We cater to inpatient and outpatient populations across the lifespan.

Nurses work within a multidisciplinary team.

Nurses are responsible for the pre-procedural preparation of patients.

They also provide post-procedural recovery and overnight observation care.

Experience with GI post-procedural care is preferred but not required.

This is an exciting opportunity for nurses who want to work in the high-energy environment of diagnostic imaging.

We specialize in providing care for patients undergoing CT scans, MRIs, nuclear medicine scans, X-rays, and ultrasounds.

Good communication skills and critical thinking abilities are essential.

Candidates should be team-oriented, enthusiastic, flexible, and organized.

The RN will be responsible for pre / post and 23-hour care for interventional radiology patients.

They will care for patients boarding overnight pre or post-procedure.

BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
