Role : Mechanical Engineer (Temp-to-Perm)
Location : 50 Country Line Road, Branchburg Park, NJ 08876
Duration : 12 months
What Youll Do
Conduct sample intake, proper identification, storage, and return shipments as required
Perform mechanical and equipment testing using established test methods, protocols, and specifications (Instron, Zwick, etc.)
Follow and maintain test schedules (e.g., stability pulls, aging pulls)
Analyze data using Excel, JMP, or MiniTab and draft technical reports
Communicate testing challenges, scheduling conflicts, or issues to management in a timely manner
Maintain lab supplies and ensure the lab and storage areas remain clean and organized
Manage sample disposition, including coordination of hazardous waste disposal
Adhere to ZebraSci Quality Systems and promptly identify or report potential quality events (e.g., OOS, Deviations, CAPA)
Review, edit, and draft Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other lab documents under supervision
Support project management activities and communicate project updates to clients and internal teams
What Were Looking For
High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelors degree in Engineering, Biomedical, Chemistry, Biology, or related field preferred
Previous hands-on experience with Instron and / or Zwick testing systems preferred
Familiarity with MiniTab, SolidWorks, or other data analysis / design tools
Understanding of problem-solving and data analysis methodologies
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
