Building Maintenance Technician - Mobile

The CBRE Maintenance Technician role is within the Engineering and Technical Services department, responsible for maintaining buildings, and some industrial systems / equipment. Both preventative and reactive work orders on various types of buildings and facilities. This job does not require overtime or weekend work, but it may be available if workload permits. (No mandatory on-call, for better life balance!)

What You'll Do :

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems and structures.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs of the building or structure. (To include light carpentry, electrical and plumbing.)
• Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
• Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems and be able to think creatively for a new approach.
• Share complex information in a clear, concise manner.
• Impact team through defined duties, methods and tasks as described in detail.
• Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under general supervision and guidance.

The minimum salary for the Building Maintenance Tech. position is $29.00 per hour and the maximum salary for the Building Maintenance Tech. position is $33.50 per hour. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
