Role Summary

Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the quality operating systems and the coordination of all products, process capability, control, PDCA and document control actions supporting the Quality Systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand, plan, interact and build strong business relationships with customer engineering and SQE representatives to define / clarify requirements and expectations on product and services.
• Monitor customer performance scorecard and participate in 8D Root Cause Analysis; coordinate follow-up meetings and drive compliance actions.
• Follow up on all open problem sheets (external and internal complaints) and drive actions on the open items list.
• Responsible for Quality End of Shift notes and KPIs.
• Oversee Shop Floor Product Release, Reaction Plan, escalation process, and non-conforming procedure enforcement on the production floor.
• Communicate all quality concerns to plant associates.
• Lead or participate in 3 path, 5 why root cause analysis and corrective actions with a cross-functional team to reduce / eliminate internal and customer PPMs.
• Coordinate correction card creation and follow up for assigned parts; review recurrent issues and maintain correction card logbook.
• Act as Internal GP12 (safe launch containment) Champion and key holder of Q-hold area.
• Assist in the development of dimensional control strategies and the design and procurement of gauges and instruments.
• Complete home line fixture buy-offs.
• Capable of working on cross-functional activities and processes with different engineering departments.
