Laboratory Support Services Supervisor

Responsible for supervision of phlebotomy services including hospital and outreach services.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 1 year phlebotomy experience and ability to supervise required; 2 years preferred
• Demonstrated ability to draw blood from a patient in an efficient and timely manner
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate outreach services, paternity tests, scheduling and drug screen collections
• Knowledge of the daily operations of the laboratory workflow as it relates to phlebotomy
• Demonstrates leadership and motivation
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to interact with technologists, clerical personnel and other hospital departments
• Possession of a valid Class E driver's license is required
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
• Ability to organize workload and handle multiple projects
