House Manager

Riverbend Retreat-Fla is seeking a dependable, hands-on House Manager to personally handle housekeeping, meal preparation, errands, and day-to-day care of a boutique retreat property. This is an active, service-oriented role ideal for someone who enjoys caring for a home, working independently, and supporting guests in a peaceful setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform all housekeeping duties (guest rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, common areas)
• Manage laundry, linens, and household inventory
• Prepare simple meals and assist with retreat food service
• Maintain clean, organized kitchens and food storage areas
• Run errands (groceries, supplies, local pickups)
• Prepare spaces for guest arrivals, retreats, and events
• Clean and reset the property between stays
• Serve as on-site contact for guests during stays
• Conduct routine property checks and report maintenance needs
• Assist with basic outdoor setup (patio, dock, common areas)

Schedule

• Typical hours: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM 5 days a week
• Work is heaviest: Weekends and holidays
• Schedule varies based on guest and retreat calendar
• Part-time or full-time (to be determined)

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping, hospitality, home management, or similar hands-on roles
• Comfortable with physical work (cleaning, lifting, stairs, standing/walking)
• Organized, dependable, and self-directed
• Friendly, professional demeanor with attention to detail
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
