Health and Human Development Instructor- Full-Time

Position Summary

The Health and Human Development Department seeks a dynamic passionate and energetic teacher to fill a full-time regular teaching position beginning August 2026. Candidates should be interested in being part of a collaborative group of teachers and working with highly motivated high school students in a diverse mostly residential applications will demonstrate candidates ability and willingness to be active participants in the Academys academic extracurricular and residential programs.

Academic Position Requirements

C andidates should be prepared to teach health education classes contribute to curriculum development and updates annually and be interested in helping to shape courses in the Health and Human Development Department in the future. Candidates should be familiar with the National Health Education Standards and CASEL frameworks. We especially encourage applicants with demonstrable experience in health promotion marketing event planning and working with students related to behavior change.

• An advanced degree in Public Health or a related field is required.

Additional Requirements

Compensation for this position is determined using a structured 25 step system that accounts for relevant years of professional teaching experience and highest degree earned. The salary range is $55566 (step 1) to $123480 (step 25).
