Senior Claims Adjuster - NYLL & Construction Defect

A Global Specialty Insurer that offers a diverse set of admitted and surplus lines of insurance is looking to bring on a Senior Claims Adjuster, Specialty Lines. This carrier has been in business for over 45 years and has strong financial backing and profitability which is leading to organic growth. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team comprised of talented individuals with an excellent leader!

As a Senior Claims Adjuster, Specialty Lines you will be handling a mix bag of New York Contractors (NYLL), Construction Defect, General Liability, Slip and Falls, and Minor Bodily Injury with significant severity and complexity. You will have direct oversight of coverage disputes, formulate litigation strategies, and conduct liability analysis. In this role you will work directly with internal and external stakeholders, participate in claims reviews and audits, and attend depositions, settlement conferences and trials. The right candidate will have the following skill set:

• 8+ years claims handling experience in General Liability
• Experience handling NYLL
• Experience handling Construction Defect
• Experience with litigation and coverage disputes

The salary range for this role ranges from 150k - 165k base + 15% bonus.
