Employment Type : Full-time

Hourly Rate : $77 / hr

Position Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiologic Technologist to join the specialized imaging team at a premier academic medical center. The ideal candidate will possess extensive technical expertise in interventional procedures and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced clinical environment.

  • Work Schedule :

    • Full-time position

  • Days
  • 40 hours per week
  • Specific days / hours to be determined
  • Will be required to work weekends and holidays on a rotational basis.
  • Overtime may be required based on departmental needs.

    • Qualifications :

  • Education : Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Radiology, or related field.
  • Licensure / Certification : New York State License, Registration, or Eligible; Current CPR certification; Registration certification for Contrast Injection required. ARRT certification must be obtained within one year of appointment.
  • Experience : Minimum of five (5) years of progressive technical experience.
  • Technical Skills : Proficiency in interventional radiology equipment operation and imaging procedures.
  • Soft Skills : Strong communication abilities, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations.

    • Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform complex interventional radiology procedures under physician direction.
  • Operate and maintain specialized interventional imaging equipment.
  • Prepare and administer contrast media according to established protocols.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and status during procedures.
  • Maintain sterile field and assist with invasive procedures.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
