Utility Programs and Services Location : Columbia, MD (Hybrid Home Office with Local Travel) Job Description : To support our growth, we are seeking candidates with an interest in utility energy efficiency programs and foundational knowledge of energy-efficient technologies associated with commercial building systems. In this entry-level role, you will support the energy efficiency team by assisting with project application processing, reviewing documentation for compliance, and responding to customer and contractor inquiries. You will also help coordinate quality control follow-ups and contribute to the successful implementation of utility-sponsored energy efficiency projects. This position offers hands-on experience with various types of energy efficiency projects and the opportunity to collaborate with industry experts to deliver innovative, best-practice solutions for our clients. What You Will Be Doing : Support the energy efficiency team by assisting in the evaluation, implementation, and verification of utility-sponsored energy efficiency projects, ensuring that tasks are completed accurately and in accordance with program design. Review project application forms and submittals by customers, contractors, engineers / consultants and other program participants to ensure compliance with program policies and procedures. Provide technical assistance and guidance on energy efficient technologies and practices to companies participating in utility-sponsored programs. Review technical specifications, engineering calculations and cost estimates for energy efficiency projects. Interface with customers and contractors participating in utility sponsored programs. Perform energy savings calculations for prescriptive energy efficiency measures and upload records into program database. Process paperwork for program incentive payments per established policies and procedures. Coordinate quality control follow-up on project inspections and customer surveys as appropriate.

What We Need You To Have (Minimum Qualifications) : Bachelor's degree OR Associate's degree with 2+ years of work experience in business admin, energy, project coordination or a related field, OR High School diploma with 4+ years of work experience in business admin, energy, project coordination or a related field

What We Would Like You To Have : 2+ years' experience with MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel). An advanced understanding of Excel is required. Strong time management, communication, and organization skills. Ability to work independently and as a team player. Outstanding analytical, writing, and communication skills. Bachelor's Degree in (Energy, Environmental Studies, Business Admin or related fields). Utility, energy efficiency, or equivalent trade experience. Experience interacting with business owners, representatives and other key stakeholders.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is : $37,831.00 - $64,313.00 Columbia, MD (MD12)
