Shift : 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM

Experience :

• 12 months of role experience is required from any number of months.
• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required from last 12 months.
• Experience with Centricity is preferred from any number of months.
• Experience with MEDHOST is preferred from any number of months.

Additional Details :

A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities. The following are considered acute care facilities : Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.

Weekly Guaranteed Hours : 36

Weekend Hours : rotating schedule

Every Other Weekend

Years of Experience : 2+; Med Surg, postpartum, pediatrics in that order. Due to our low birthrate we must accept medical surgical patients on the floor. I need a nurse that has recent experience in those areas.

Patient Population e.g. “geriatric, adult, peds, etc.” : geriatric, peds, adult, post partum

Must Have Skills / Experience : IV placement; NG tube placement; fundal checks;

Common Diagnosis / Treatment : Bowel obstruction; hip fracture; Cholelithiasis; Appendicitis; Post Partum care

Scrub : Any color
