Mechanical Engineer

Mid-Level Mechanical Engineer | Federal Project | Chantilly, VA

Our client, a leading multidisciplinary engineering firm with a strong track record delivering innovative solutions across mission-critical, government, and commercial projects, has just signed a major new federal program . They are now looking to add a Mid-Level Mechanical Engineer to their Specialized Design team.

What You'll Do :

• Support / lead HVAC and mechanical design across cradle-to-grave engineering projects
• Perform load calculations, system sizing, layouts, and equipment selections
• Create CAD drawings and technical documentation
• Conduct site surveys and support construction activities (RFIs, submittals, punch lists)
• Research and integrate the latest HVAC technologies
• Collaborate with cross-discipline teams, clients, contractors, and vendors

What We're Looking For :

B.S. in Mechanical Engineering

Minimum 4+ years of design engineering experience

Proficiency in AutoCAD / SolidWorks

Strong understanding of HVAC, piping, and mechanical utility systems

Experience applying mechanical / plumbing / fire code & industry standards

U.S. Citizenship

EIT certification (required); PE license is a plus
