Do you love working with young children and have a knack for keeping things organized and fun? Wonderspring is seeking a Food Service Aide  to join our vibrant team at our Star 4 New Market West Center ! The work schedule for this position is Monday-Friday 8 : 00 AM - 1 : 00 PM . Our center is renowned for its excellent preschool and toddler programs, and we're all about providing high-quality services to young children and their families.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Organize, prepare, and deliver breakfast, lunch, and snacks to classrooms, ensuring all meals align with the menu and accommodate dietary needs and allergies.
• Monitor food and supply inventory; place weekly orders per CACFP, Kremmer’s, and Novick guidelines. Verify deliveries against invoices and promptly address any discrepancies.
• Complete daily meal count forms and inventory sheets. Maintain accurate records to ensure compliance with food program requirements.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, equipment, and appliances regularly. Perform monthly deep-cleaning tasks and adhere to all health and safety standards.
• Check and log refrigerator and freezer temperatures daily, reporting any issues immediately.
• Update and distribute food allergy and preference lists. Ensure all classrooms are stocked with necessary dining supplies.
