Resident Assistant / CNA

Resident Assistant Overview :

We are currently seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Resident Assistants. As a Resident Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing care and support to our residents in a senior living community.

Resident Assistant Responsibilities :

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Administer medications following proper protocols
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs and restrictions
• Provide direct support to residents in a respectful and dignified manner
• Engage residents in memory care activities and programs
• Ensure resident rights are respected and upheld
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks in resident living areas

Resident Assistant Qualifications :

Experience in home care, senior care, or a related field is preferred

Knowledge of medication administration practices

Familiarity with providing care for individuals with dementia or memory care needs

Ability to assist with meal preparation and dietary requirements

Understanding of resident rights and dignity in care settings
